Coordinate the equipment and the other trades
Kitchen appliances, heating equipment and fitted furniture can all affect electrical connections. We ask for their specifications early enough to coordinate first fix with the builder and the relevant specialists. The installation programme identifies when rooms need access and when final connections can take place. Decisions about equipment and layout should be recorded while the design is developing, so the electrical work follows the same brief as the rest of the refurbishment.

Make the distribution and handover understandable
The existing consumer unit and any other distribution equipment need to be considered with the agreed circuit requirements. We explain whether the project calls for selected alterations, a full rewire or a defined board replacement. Testing and the relevant completion records are included within the installation scope. Before work starts, we discuss the household's working areas, anticipated supply interruptions and the responsibilities for reinstating finishes around the electrical routes.
